Green Turtle Cay, Bahamas

When our bride told us she needed to fly in her photographer and videographer, I already knew this wasn’t going to be an ordinary celebration. Destination weddings hit different and this one took us all the way to the dreamy shores of Green Turtle Cay in the Abacos.

The Journey There

We first flew into the Marshall Islands (the Abacos region), then grabbed a taxi to the dock. From there, we boarded a private boat that cut across the most unreal turquoise water I’ve ever seen.

And once we arrived?

No Ubers. No traffic lights. Just golf carts.

That’s how you get around Green Turtle Cay — cruising the island with salty air in your hair, camera gear in the back seat, and pure joy in your chest.

As destination wedding filmmakers, we’re used to adapting. But something about loading Pelican cases onto a boat and driving golf carts to a wedding venue felt like we were part of an adventure movie.

Destination weddings have this beautiful side effect: everyone there really wants to be there. No random plus-ones. No rushed timelines. Just a tight circle of love, fully present.

From getting ready moments to golden hour portraits on the dock, every frame felt like a postcard.
